good impressions

It was my 2nd (paid) day at sky news today. and I was an hour and a half late at a place that runs like clockwork and time keeping is an essential skill. I also never managed to sucessfully get through on the phone to tell them. (what with underground, lack of credit and no one picking up the phone) Just wondered what other bad impressions people have given new employers...

My interview for the BBC, had no sleep all weekend as was getting down to some serious partying , got in a fight and had a massive black eye, as i was walking down the corridor for my interview the creases in my trousers decided to fall out , then for final insult the heel on my shoe started coming loose so had to limp! funnily enough got the job

i used to be late all the time there, boss used to get more upset with the fact that he had bought us a Tea and it had got cold , rather than me being late

Is it just me or does anyone else get nervous when entering a lift with a heavily pregnant women in it ?

Employers are a pain in the ass. Maybe thats why I have't held down a job for more then three months.
I haven't tried it much but I hear bootlicking and ass kissing always works. Maybe that only works over here...

nowt to do with film, but i worked at next for a week and my girlfriend of a year dumped me on a saturday morning so i rung in and said that my grampy had died cos i was a mess...

the gave me a week off to grieve, but when i was supposed to go back i rung up and said family were coming down for the funeral and i had to be there!....hated that fucking job....never officially quit, just didnt go back...maybe im still on the pay roll
